• ext-pcntl - For worker process control and fork management
• ext-posix - For process state and signaling controls
• ext-opcache - For runtime OPcache caching and file performance

Networking & Performance

• ext-sockets - Required for native socket descriptors, UDP support, and network pooling
• ext-event, ext-ev, or ext-uv - Recommended as alternative high-performance asynchronous event loop backends (Nexphant will fall back to native stream select if none are loaded)

Inter-Process Communication (IPC)

• ext-sysvsem - Semaphore support for process locking and worker sync
• ext-sysvshm - Shared memory segment allocations
• ext-sysvmsg - System V message queues
• ext-shmop - Raw shared memory operations

Caching & Drivers

• ext-apcu - Shared memory cache (essential for APCu cache store)
• ext-redis - Redis connection support
• ext-pdo - Required if using database adapters (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite)

Create Project

composer create-project nexphant/nexphant my-app

Template options:

• blank - Minimal
• api - API structure
• mvc - MVC structure

Run Dev Server

cd my-app
composer run dev

Run Production

php app.php

Verify

curl http://localhost:8080
